Hazard Alert

When you are cycling in traffic and must contend with other users, it's a jungle out there. Worse yet, sometimes it feels like the laws of the jungle rather than enforce laws and traffic regulations. This could happen when the two pilots clearing are protected Within hardened vehicles. If you are a cyclist, you can get very easily hurt by the slightest collision, and be on two wheels is also a user you less visible from the road. Here are five classic situations where cyclists need to be on their guard.
The emergency stop
When you are cycling in traffic, give other charges of vehicles flexibility, and especially keep your eyes open for danger zones locally. These could be near a school where children can precipitate in the road and cause traffic in front of you stop suddenly to avoid hitting them. Or there could be an ice cream truck parked on the road and you can expect young people from nowhere and wreak havoc. As a cyclist, keep your hands near your brakes if you spot potential hazards, such that these, and also try to anticipate looking forward to the car in front of you. This is not an excuse that they did an emergency stop and you crashed into them – you need to be aware and give yourself enough time to stop safely in such circumstances.
The pilot Hesitating
This example follows the emergency stop as described above. Caution vehicles that are driving slowly in front of you, or if they stop and start and constantly changing lanes. The driver is probably lost or trying find a street or specific address. Do not lose your cool with them and try to exceed them. May you end up doing just as they find the street they sought, and since their concentration is elsewhere, they are likely to focus right on you.
The Hook
The hook is a frequent hazard for cyclists who have some power in their constituency. It is an example of a driver miscalculated the speed of a cyclist when approaching an intersection where the driver wants to turn right, but the rider wants to go straight. Usually the driver will accelerate after cycling and then cut back across to take a right turn (assuming you drive on the right – in the United Kingdom and other countries, this danger will be a "left" one). The cyclist has only two possibilities: colliding with the vehicle and risk of injury, or turn right with the vehicle and stop. The usual option is to turn right and stop, and no collision occurred, the driver will always deny that they have done nothing wrong. Protection against the hook is very difficult, because the driver made a split second decision as to whether he can get before you and turn right. While the vulnerable part, you should use your conscience when approaching intersections. Look behind you for cars indicating an intention to turn right. Finally, be prepared to take evasive action if necessary – to keep your hands near your brakes, slow down and be alert.
The door opener
The Door Opener is a true classic. It is the result of busy lifestyles and drivers are in a hurry. It goes something like this: a driver exceeds a cyclist safely, but is in a hurry. He stands a little further down the street, grabbed his briefcase and swings open the door. The cyclist from the opposite direction, traveling speed, possibly, would not had time to react, and usually ends up tumbling over the handlebars of his bike and the car door, and subsequently needs hospital treatment. Again, although you can argue that the driver should have checked his first mirror, it is not the only one who will get hurt. So keep an eye on this scenario, the next time you're out biking. If a car passes you and parks, check behind you to ensure you can position yourself off parking car, slow down so you can see the driver turned toward the door. Be on red alert until you have submitted.
The Junction Pull-Out
This is the most important threat, one that annually kills many bikers. It occurs when a motorist is in a side street and wants to join the main flow of traffic. He will see the school bus or RV and focus on that to determine whether he can withdraw safely. Thinking that there will be plenty of time, he says, have not focused at all on target much smaller and closer to two wheels. The cyclist hit the side of the car at speed and generally suffer serious injuries, because unlike a car door which will absorb some energy of impact, the car itself is stationary. The solution to this danger for cyclists is to ensure that you have seen. Wear shirts Cycling clear when riding in traffic. Like most riders, you may want to consider changing your headlight on, even when riding during the day. Nothing done to ensure that you are not "covered" by putting other road users.
To ensure you do not end up in the room emergency because one of these bikes dangers, take these items with you whenever you get on your bike: a very catchy shirt bicycle, a healthy dose of paranoia and good direction, and you should be fine.
